Raggedy Stories Dolls - Andy Illustrations Coloring Pages Free E-Book

Not only is "Raggedy Ann" one of most popular dolls on the planet for little girls and grown-ups girls and has been since she was introduced to the world by Johnny Gruelle in 1918 but so is Raggedy Andy which was introduced to the world by Johnny Gruelle in 1920.  After all, why should only the little girls have all the fun!

I for one am a huge fan of the Raggedy Ann and Andy Stories Books Written & Illustrated by Johnny Gruelle and was introduced to them by my Grandmother many years ago.  I loved the stories and loved my own Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls.

So, of course, when "primitive" dolls - especially "raggedies" (which are versions of Raggedy Ann dolls) became all the rage two decades ago I was thrilled.  Around this same time primitive decor was all the rage and gaining in popularity online which created a ton of primitive websites, blogs, and groups. It seemed there were primitives everywhere and no shortage of freebies for creating all sorts of primitive dolls and crafts for home decor, but especially "raggedies."

So, given how much I love history and old books I decided to see if there was a copy of some of the old "Raggedy Andy" books out there on Project Gutenberg which displays books that are in the public domain.  To my delight there was a "Raggedy Ann Stories"  ebook written in 1918 and a "Raggedy Andy Stories" ebook written in 1920 that were now in the public domain.

I found Raggedy Andy's Stories with illustrations by Johnny Gruelle to be charming and decided I would create a free coloring book based on the illustrations from the 1920 free ebook so all the little girls and boys could enjoy coloring images of their favorite dolls together.

I hope you have fun coloring  the different illustrations I have combined into 30 different coloring pages and hope they provide you with hours of coloring enjoyment.

My free coloring pages e-book contains contains thirty individual 8 1/2" by 11" coloring pages.
